New Vehicles featuring ZF Technology

   

Iveco Daily

The new Iveco Daily LCV can be fitted either with ZF’s Ecolite 6-speed manual transmission or – starting in 2015 – with the popular 8HP automatic transmission. ZF also supplies the van’s shock absorbers and clutch systems, while the steering column and pump are supplied by ZF Lenksysteme.

Terberg RoRo RT403

In Dutch firm Terberg’s new heavy-duty tractor, a ZF 6WG310 transmission provides six forward and three reverse speeds. The four-wheel-drive RoRo RT403 has a special lifting device for raising trailers and is a popular choice for port and heavy - industry applications.
 

Bozankaya Sileo

Manufacturer Bozankaya has just launched the new Sileo electric bus, complete with ZF’s AVE 130 electric portal axle. ZF is also exhibiting the axle at this year’s IAA Commercial Vehicles trade fair – for more details see the inside front cover of this issue.

Audi TT Coupé

The latest edition of this iconic sports car from Ingolstadt is equipped with shock absorbers and a clutch system from ZF. Also on board the Audi TT Coupé are ZF electronic and chassis components, as well as a Servolectric electric power steering system supplied by ZF Lenksysteme.
   

Galactica Star

Thanks to two engines generating 5800 bhp each, the “Galactica Star” built by Heesen Yachts in Holland is capable of traveling at up to 27 knots (around 50 km/h or 32 mph). Two ZF 23560C transmissions ensure all this power is put to good use. The 65-meter (215-foot) yacht also has ZF’s TT 2001 FP ALU bowthrusters on board.

BMW S 1000 R

With ZF’s CDCi adaptive damping system (BMW: DDC – Dynamic Damping Control) fi tted to front and back axles, the new BMW S 1000 R boasts exceptionally high levels of safety and driver-friendly handling. The high-performance roadster is also fi tted with electronic components supplied by ZF.
